Microchipping provides a reliable way to verify a horse’s identity, which can contribute to the well-being of a horse and support consumer confidence during horse sales.

To help competitors understand new microchipping requirements that will take effect beginning in the 2018 competition year, an informational site has been developed with the USHJA to provide education and resources to help answer questions regarding microchipping.
