Dr. Jordan Grossman was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, where she developed her passion for horses. Growing up, her family owned several horses, but it was her large pony with a history of abuse who taught her the most about patience, responsibility, and hard work.

After graduating from University of Georgia, Jordan attended Univeristy of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where she participated in a unique program which emphasized clinical skill building. While attending veterinary school, Jordan also owned and managed an equine boarding facility. As her pony aged and her pastures filled with retired horses, Jordan developed a special place in her heart for geriatric horses and the people whose hearts they occupy.

Jordan enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary medicine including emergencies, theriogenology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, sports medicine, and most of all, bonding with clients. She is looking forward to joining the 3H team and the greater Raleigh community while sharpening her skills and applying her knowledge to help the animals that mean so much to you.

In her free time, she plans to explore nearby parks with her beautiful mare, Yemen, and her adventure loving dogs, Chance and Panda. While she is grateful for her experience in the Midwest, she is excited to return to the East Coast where it’s easy to get lost in the woods and good food is never hard to find.
